About Me
Welcome!
Hi, I'm Lindsey. My work life has consisted of the American hodgepodge: retail sales, operations, customer service, manufacturing, facility management, and now content and copywriting. I've learned a lot and don't hesitate to learn more.
Currently, I'm a natural health and wellness writer for Earthley. I combine my passion for natural health with my love for words to help people learn how to take their health into their own hands. I nerdily love to take facts about herbs, vitamins, and minerals and turn them into compelling content that even a sleep-deprived mom can understand. As a mom myself, I know how important it is to find easily digestible content.
What I can do for you:
Writing short, medium, long
form content to fit your brand tone and style
Writing marketing emails with high-impact CTAs and conversational tone to achieve marketing goals
work on a team or independently
Project manaGEMent
create eye catching graphics that follow your branding guidelines
Proof reading content and getting it ready for publishing, in both digital and print formats
Creates consistent and engaging
email content
Create homeschool curriculum and ebooks

Does Your Health Feel Out of Control?🤒
Learning to take your health into your own hands can be a rewarding journey. The path to self discovery is paved with life long health benefits. Natural health is an affordable, safe option for yourself and your family, but how do you know where to start?
Health is personal and individual. A one size fits all philosophy won't work. This is why self-discovery is so critical. Only you know what your body is telling you.
We live in the age of information. This can seem overwhelming at times, but it can also be empowering.
Why You Should Toss These Supplements Out Todayđź’Š
Do you have a cabinet or kitchen counter full of supplement bottles? Are there words on there that you've never seen, let alone know how to pronounce?
In a perfect world, we would get every nutrient we need from our environment, and our food supply and water would be optimally clean. However, we don't live in that world. Even soil is depleted of essential nutrients like magnesium.
We often can't get everything we need for good nutrition via meals alone, so our bodies need the extra boost from supplements.

What’s Really Going On With Early Puberty
Creativity: How to Stay Relevant In a World of Change
The media is all abuzz with the mystery of early puberty in girls. What exactly is considered early? How long has this been going on for? Mainstream media will have us thinking this is a mystery, and there’s nothing we can do, but that isn’t true at all.
Early onset puberty, or precocious puberty, is when a child's body begins changing into that of an adult too soon. When puberty begins before age 8 in girls and before age 9 in boys, it is considered precocious puberty. Recently, girls as young as 6 or 7 have started early puberty. Ideally it should start around 10 or 11, with menstruation starting around 12 to 13, which is still early based on recent history. The average age for the start of menses in a healthy young girl 100 years ago was around 15. What’s causing our kids to start puberty earlier and should we be concerned?
In the past 20 years, we have seen significant changes in the world, mainly due to technology. Changes in education, transportation, retail, and new sectors like e-commerce have risen. In the past ten years, we have seen even more drastic changes in technology, and there are whisperings of AI (artificial intelligence) and automation continuing to put people out of jobs. We live in a world where “learn to code” can get you banned from Twitter. People are afraid of what the future and technological advancement will bring, but one thing has proven certain time and time again. Change is inevitable, and those that can change with the times stay relevant. More than relevant, they thrive.

The Risks of Sleep Deprivation
Did you know that humans are the only animals that willingly deprive themselves of sleep? Sleep is a universal need for humans. Young, old, and everyone in between need sleep. We’re not talking a few hours here and there; we’re talking about a biological need for uninterrupted sleep. While the amount of sleep required may change from young to old, the need for sleep does not change.
The risks of sleep deprivation have been greatly underplayed in our society. With the sensationalization of coffee and 24-hour access to light, it’s easy to convince ourselves we don’t need to sleep very much. Did you know that Guinness World Records does not allow entries for whoever can stay awake the longest anymore because it is too dangerous?
There was an experiment where scientists deprived rats of total sleep to see what happened. According to the study “Ten rats were subjected to total sleep deprivation (TSD) by the disk apparatus. All TSD rats died or were sacrificed when death seemed imminent within 11-32 days (S).”
The general population isn’t trying to win a no-sleep marathon, so there’s no need to worry about imminent death. However, even shaving an hour or two off your required sleep each night can have serious risks for young and old.
